I have been using IBM Connections since it was first launched in 2007.
In July 2011, I was announced as one of the first IBM Collaboration Champion's and I was re-elected in Dec 2012 / Dec 2013. I am currently working on the implementation of a Collaborative working environment (based on Connections, Notes and Sametime) into an organisation that wants to use new ways of working to communicate with a workforce spread over 50+ locations. In addition, only half the current current workforce have access to email (in total some 1500 employees) and the company is looking to empower it workforce by implementing a BYOD (Bring your own device) policy which will allow the workforce to access company information from anywhere and at any time. The aim of this session is to explain the use cases and business benefits we developed to get the project approved!
